Cookies For Santa

Christmas just would not be Christmas without cookies for Santa.  The kiddos and I finally had our calendar cleared so we stayed home for the day and made cookies!  The kids had a great time however, these cookies will just be for Santa and our family because everytime I looked one of them was licking the knife or there fingers!  Oh well- kids will be kids!!!

Christmas Part I

Sunday we went to Glennville to celebrate Christmas with Marc's family.  It was quite a whirl-wind because we drove the 3 hours there, quickly unwrapped presents with grandparents and aunts and uncles, then headed to St. Simon's for the usual family get-together.  Needless to say, when we finally arrived back home at midnight, after 9 hours of driving and several melt-downs!!!  It was nice to see all the families and see how all the kids are growing up. (which makes me sad, too)

Our Dancer

Lastnight was Ella's first dance recital.  She did AWESOME!  I was shocked she really knew what she was doing.  She got out on stage and really performed!!!  I was so proud of her.  I hope that she will want to continue dancing.....she may have some potential!!

Ella is the 3rd in from the right.

Single, Our Elf

Our Elf, Single, faithfully makes his appearance on Thanksgiving night.  This year was no different and he has been hiding in all his usual places.  The kids get up each morning and search to find where Single is.  Sunday when Braden woke up, he had quite a surprise.  Seems that Single saw that Braden was not listening, so Single decided to toilet paper Braden's room.  He also left Braden a note about the importance of listening and he also added that Braden had to clean up the mess Single made.  Braden was little unsure of what to think about the note and the mess, but I am sure he will think twice about not listening next time.........

Christmas Outfits

Our custom made Christmas outfits arrived today and I am so excited for my kids to wear them!!  They are absolutely the cutest outfits ever!!!  I just love Becky at Polkadaisies!!!

Up On A House Top

Braden's Christmas program at school was on Monday night.  I have been hearing the song "Up on a House Top" for quite awhile and now I got to hear the whole thing. The kids did a wonderful job and I must say that Braden was a hit!!  They put him front-row-center!! He was dancing and singing the whole time.  Mom seems to think we will see him on broadway some day! He is very musically inclined and has rhythm!  Maybe that is why he has asked Santa for a guitar this year.

The funniest part was when Braden sneezed in the middle of the program.  Too bad I did not have that part on tape, because boy can he sneeze.  He does not have the middle name James for nothing! HA! HA!

Here are some pics. (with my new camera!)
