Tang Soo!!

Braden took his Karate belt promotion test this morning. He is now a blue belt. We are so proud of him. It is amazing the karate skills along with character traits he has learned through this program. I hope he will continue to want to take karate and do well. Soon, since he will be seven in about a month, he will move up to the next class.

Braden after getting his new belt..... how I got this picture I do not know, but do you think he was excited as he was going back to sit down?

Braden was a little slow on the duck. Mr. Ray got him in the head and you can even see his hair sticking up.

Make Something Beautiful

I feel like I have been meeting myself coming and going lately with school starting back. It was really difficult starting when my room did not get done until 1 hour before open house and I have been behind ever since. It will get better when our technology gets hooked up and I can feel "normal" again. But, we are slowly getting back into the routine.

I really cannot believe that we are already in the middle of September. That means my little boy will be turnng 7 very soon! Is that possible? I was just on bed rest for 5 long months with him. This year we are doing something very exciting for his birthday. We are taking him back to Disney to celebrate his birthday. It will definitely be fun.

I have found these cute shirts on Etsy.....what do you think??

This one for my Ella

This one for the Birthday boy......goofy is his favorite!

On another side note, lately I have been loving the music by Laura Story. She came to our church over the summer and it was awesome. One song she sang that day really speaks to me. The title is Make Something Beautiful. The words say "Take all of my life, all of my life, and make someting beautiful. Open my hands, trust in your plan, to make something beautiful. So all will see, your work in me, as you make something beautiful." I pray that God will make something beautiful in your life. My life is full of two precious, beautiful children who I am thankful for each day. I also pray that God will making something beautiful in the lives of my family members, including my brother. That is my prayer each day!!!

Here are the two Beautiful Things in My Life.
